• For bottom lifting by forklift, it’s important to use good form by lifting only where indicated on the decal and securing the lift squarely under the steel legs (of stainless totes) or under the pallet (of poly tanks).   This technique applies whether using a fork or pallet jack.

• Moving HAZMAT materials? It’s even more critical to be certain the lid is properly vented, and best practice is to use a mallet to reach a torque of 30 ft-lb, as described here.
